Israeli forces eliminated Saher Saqer, one of the terrorists who abducted Noa Argamani during the October 7 massacre, in an airstrike in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. According to Palestinian reports, Saqer was the motorcyclist who forcefully transported Argamani into Gaza, flanked by numerous other terrorists.
Argamani was kidnapped from the Nova music festival alongside her partner, Avinatan Or. She was rescued eight months later in Operation Arnon, while Or returned later under the October 13, 2025 hostage release deal. Meanwhile, separate strikes were reported near the White Mosque in the Shati camp west of Gaza City.
Systematic Elimination of October 7 Perpetrators
In recent months, the IDF and the Shin Bet have systematically targeted terrorists who participated in the October 7 atrocities. A Southern Command official explained that these individuals are actively rebuilding Hamas's military capabilities.
"Therefore, our desire to close the circle with those who committed these atrocities aligns with the need to halt processes that we cannot accept within Hamas," the official stated.
Intelligence Operations and Targeted Strikes
The security establishment maintains a dedicated command center tracking high-priority targets. While some strikes rely on immediate intelligence and operational windows of opportunity, others undergo meticulous planning over several days. Security officials emphasize that operations continue around the clock regardless of shifts in overall combat intensity.
