IDF Destroys Two-Kilometer Hamas Tunnel Network in Southern Gaza

IDF forces have destroyed a strategic two-kilometer underground tunnel network in the southern Gaza Strip. The operation was carried out by the Givati Brigade combat team and Yahalom combat engineering unit under the command of the Gaza Division engineering branch.

This operation is part of systematic efforts to clear the "Yellow Line" area of Hamas military infrastructure. Engineering forces continue continuous operations to neutralize underground routes and prevent the terrorist organization from rebuilding its capabilities.

In recent months, engineering forces have targeted numerous subterranean networks across the Gaza Strip. Military data shows that over 26 kilometers of underground routes east of the Yellow Line have been neutralized in the northern sector alone since the ceasefire began.
