Hillel Mordechai Dadon, of blessed memory, 7, is the child who was murdered today in a stabbing incident in Beit Shemesh. Dadon and his 4-year-old cousin were found wounded, and medical teams evacuated them to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital. Hillel arrived without signs of life and was pronounced dead at the hospital, while his cousin was evacuated while conscious and in moderate condition.

The incident occurred in a home on Emek HaZeitim Street. MADA teams summoned to the scene provided emergency treatment before transporting the children to the hospital.

Hadassah Hospital stated that both children were admitted to the trauma unit. The younger child arrived fully conscious, while Hillel arrived without signs of life and was declared dead in the trauma unit. The hospital staff is currently providing support to the family during this difficult time.

Police have arrested a suspect, believed to be a young neighbor living near the scene. The investigation is in its early stages, and the motive remains unclear. Jerusalem District Commander, Major General Avshalom Peled, arrived at the scene to conduct a situation assessment with police commanders. The area has been cordoned off, forensic investigators are collecting evidence, and the case has been transferred to the Central Unit of the Jerusalem District.
