Three Suspects Arrested Over Severe Assault and Death in Herzliya
Three suspects were arrested in connection with a severe assault in Herzliya that left a man dead after weeks in a coma at Meir Medical Center.
Two months after a severe assault in Herzliya, police arrested three suspects. The Israel Police announced today (Sunday) the arrest of two men in their 30s and 50s, along with a woman in their 30s, on suspicion of involvement in the violent incident.
The attack occurred in August, when police received a report of violence at an apartment in Herzliya. Glilot station officers who arrived at the scene found an unconscious man with severe injuries, who was evacuated shortly afterward in critical condition to Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba.
The victim remained hospitalized, sedated and on a ventilator, until he passed away three weeks later. According to police, following an intensive investigation by the Yarkon District crime fighting unit, the three suspects were arrested. They were taken for interrogation and are scheduled to appear in court for a remand extension hearing.
