Harel Wizel Expands Jumbo Greece: New Store Concept in Israel

The Jumbo Greece chain, operated in Israel by the Fox Group under businessman Harel Wizel, is continuing its expansion strategy. In addition to its large, well-known flagship stores, the company has begun opening branches in a new, more compact format. A new branch opened today in the Talpiot neighborhood of Jerusalem, covering approximately 2,500 square meters.

This move is designed to meet high consumer demand, expand the chain's nationwide presence, and adapt the shopping experience to the needs of customers in various regions.

The product range in the new branches includes school supplies, toys, stationery, housewares and decor, cleaning products, baby items, sports equipment, clothing, and seasonal goods. Approximately 75% of the inventory is priced between 0.90 and 9.90 NIS, complemented by well-known international brands and products exclusive to the Greek chain.

Dudi Cohen, CEO of Jumbo Greece, stated:

"Every store we open proves once again that there is great love for the brand in Israel. The large branches will remain our central anchor, and the new format complements them, allowing us to make the chain's unique experience more accessible and expand into additional regions."

Currently, the Fox Group operates eight Jumbo Greece branches: in Eilat, Haifa (Hutzot HaMifratz), Netanya, Ashdod, Be'er Sheva, Rishon LeZion, and two in Jerusalem (Atarot and the new Talpiot location).

The chain is part of the Fox Group's Dream Card loyalty program, which offers members Cash Back points, a 30% discount during their birthday month, and other unique benefits. Future plans include opening a large branch in Kfar Saba, as well as additional locations in Nazareth, Karmiel, and other centers across the country.
