Fox CEO Harel Wiesel: My Best Business Move and Refusal to Buy Luxury Clothes
Fox-Wiesel CEO Harel Wiesel revealed in a recent podcast interview that his best business decision was bringing global fashion brands to Israel in 2012, while admitting he refuses to spend money on designer clothes.

Harel Wiesel, owner, CEO and director of the public company Fox-Wiesel, which operates the FOX fashion chain in Israel and abroad, recently shared insights from his career. In an interview with the 'Managers Program' podcast by Bepo and ynet, Wiesel discussed his best business decisions and his aversion to spending money on designer clothes and luxury jewelry.
Reflecting on his career, Wiesel recalled a pivotal move in 2012 when he brought several international brands to Israel. "My best managerial decision was to bring more international companies to Israel around 2012. Until that year, we only had Fox, Laline, SACCS and Billabong, and then we started bringing American Eagle, Mango and others, because I saw that Israel was opening up to the world in terms of fashion," Wiesel said.
While Wiesel admitted to being a car enthusiast who enjoys luxury vehicles such as Mercedes and BMW, the multi-millionaire businessman revealed that he refuses to splurge on high-end fashion and accessories.
"I don't spend money on clothes at all. Psychologically, I cannot bring myself to buy a 200-euro pair of jeans. I enjoy seeing my children able to buy 200-euro jeans, but psychologically I just can't. Not jewelry or luxury watches either," Wiesel stated.
