Hapoel Tel Aviv Faces Valencia in EuroLeague Away Clash
Hapoel Tel Aviv travels to face Valencia in the EuroLeague, riding a strong momentum with key players returning to the roster ahead of a challenging away match.

Hapoel Tel Aviv continues its EuroLeague campaign on Thursday at the Roig Arena in Valencia, where the Reds will face one of their most significant European rivals in recent years. Hapoel enters the matchup following two consecutive EuroLeague victories, holding a 2-1 record, alongside four straight wins across all competitions.
The team held its final training session Thursday morning at the Drive In Arena in Tel Aviv, opening with a moment of silence in memory of those killed and fallen in the war since October 7. Captain Bar Timor shared his thoughts ahead of the trip, emphasizing the emotional weight of the date.
This is a complex day for the entire country, certainly much bigger than a sports team. On a personal level as Hapoel Tel Aviv, we have met many families and individuals touched by this day. We want them to know we stand with them forever, no matter what.
Following training, the delegation headed to the airport for Spain. Head coach and staff will have key roster boosts, as Amir Coffey and Jacob Toppin returned to practice and traveled with the team. Vasilije Micic and Tomas Satoransky are also expected to return to the active lineup, while Tamir Blatt remains sidelined.
Valencia's Early Form
Valencia stands as one of four undefeated teams in the early EuroLeague stage. Despite a summer roster turnover that saw the departure of key figures like Jean Montero and head coach Pedro Martinez, the Spanish side has impressed under Albert Xavier, highlighted by standout performances from newcomers TJ Shorts and Nikola Mirotic.
