Police in Haifa have enforced a 30-day closure order against a well-known beachfront restaurant after discovering two undocumented workers employed at the establishment.
The business owner appealed the decision to the Haifa Magistrate's Court, which rejected the petition. The Haifa District Court subsequently upheld the ruling, emphasizing the severity and security risks associated with employing undocumented individuals.
Authorities stated that law enforcement will continue to take decisive action against employers who violate regulations by hiring undocumented workers. This incident follows similar recent closures, including a popular venue on Ben Gurion Boulevard in Tel Aviv and the Petra restaurant in Bat Yam.
