Haifa Police Officer and Father Arrested Over Stabbing in Neighbor Dispute
A Haifa police officer and his father were arrested overnight by Mahash on suspicion of stabbing a 25-year-old man during a neighborly dispute in the Hadar HaCarmel neighborhood, leaving the victim in serious condition.

A police officer residing in Haifa and his father were arrested overnight on suspicion of involvement in the stabbing of a 25-year-old man on HaShalom Street in the city's Hadar HaCarmel neighborhood. The victim was seriously injured and evacuated to Rambam Health Care Campus. According to suspicions, the incident stemmed from a neighborly dispute.
The Department of Police Investigations (Mahash) launched an investigation, and the two suspects are scheduled to be brought before the Haifa Magistrate's Court, where investigators will request an extension of their detention.
The incident took place around 10:00 PM. Police received a report regarding a young man in his twenties who was wounded in the Hadar neighborhood. Officers from the Carmel District arrived at the scene, began gathering evidence, and conducted searches while forensic investigators operated at the site.
Magen David Adom (MDA) teams summoned to HaShalom Street found the 25-year-old in a semi-conscious state suffering from penetrating wounds. Following initial treatment at the scene, he was evacuated in an intensive care ambulance to Rambam Health Care Campus in serious condition. The investigation remains ongoing.
