The high-profile separation of Hadassah and Hanan Ben Ari continues to resonate, but now through an intimate and touching soul-searching journey. It all started with a small social experiment online: Hadassah asked her Instagram followers a complex question touching on a sensitive nerve in our society – why do people get divorce? The response was unprecedented. Over a thousand people shared their most personal stories, leading Ben Ari to testify that they were "brave enough to answer."

The Path to Self-Forgiveness

Following the flood of responses, Hadassah decided to write her own post reflecting deep insights drawn from her followers' shares alongside her own internal process. "I read every answer of yours, even in private," Ben Ari opened her remarks.

The first person we need to forgive is ourselves. I want to believe I always did the hundred percent I could do at any given time.

Ahead of Yom Kippur, Ben Ari directed the discourse toward the deep meaning of self-compassion. Instead of dealing with external blame or criticism, she turned her gaze inward, emphasizing the necessity of grace during emotional turmoil.

Sorrow as a Gateway to New Beginnings

As someone who frequently engages with spiritual texts, Hadassah sought – and found – justification for the painful process within Kabbalistic sources. For her, a crisis is not merely an end, but an opening to something entirely new.

"Grief is a gateway. In the place where I have a blockage, that is where my gateway to make my correction is located," she wrote, offering a message of cautious optimism and rebirth emerging from the broken pieces.
