Against the backdrop of incessant attacks on Guy Peleg and his family, the legal correspondent for Channel 12 has decided to step up his defense of his good name and journalistic integrity by suing a user who targeted him with abuse on social media.

According to the lawsuit recently filed against right-wing activist Ziv Tal, Peleg alleges that Tal published a series of posts calling him a "psychopath" and "Dumbo," and linking his name to Nazi contexts. Peleg is demanding 550,000 shekels in compensation. This was reported by TMI.

As recalled, following Peleg's decision to publish the video leaked by former Military Advocate General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi regarding the alleged actions of Force 100 soldiers against a detainee, he has been suffering from relentless attacks that have recently spilled over to his family members.

False reports are being circulated on Telegram claiming that Peleg's daughter allegedly passed information to Iranian agents regarding the residences of career Air Force officers and their families in exchange for a meager sum of 100 dollars. These are, of course, completely false claims that went viral and reached a massive online audience in a short time.

The malicious attack on Peleg's daughter comes just two weeks after a similar wave of fake news was directed against his son. In the "Mivzakey Israel" Telegram channel, it was claimed at the time that Peleg's son had created a musical piece that disparaged the country's flag and anthem.
