The prosecution filed a prosecutor's statement today against a 43-year-old resident of Ramat HaSharon, in whose apartment four military stun grenades and various types of drugs intended for distribution were allegedly seized. In the coming days, an indictment and a request for his detention until the end of proceedings are expected to be filed against him.

The investigation began following an operation by detectives from the Glilot station in the Yarkon district, during which a search was conducted on August 18 at an apartment in Ramat HaSharon. During the search, four military stun grenades were seized, which had been concealed at the location, alongside dangerous drugs of various types in quantities not intended for personal consumption, which were divided and allegedly intended for distribution.

During the operation, the suspect was arrested and transferred for questioning at the Glilot station. Following the findings and after examining the evidentiary basis, officers from the licensing department of the Yarkon district acted to issue an administrative closure order for the apartment, which allegedly served as a hub for criminal activity.

The Tel Aviv District Commander signed the closure order in accordance with the Law on Restriction of Use of a Place, and it will remain in effect for 30 days, until September 18.

Upon the conclusion of the investigation and the consolidation of the evidentiary basis, the prosecution filed a prosecutor's statement today against the suspect, and in the coming days, it is expected to file an indictment and a request for his detention until the end of proceedings.
