Greek Airlines Launch Major Fare Discounts on Tel Aviv Routes

Greek airlines have launched promotional campaigns for the winter season and the upcoming year, offering significant discounts on direct and connecting flights from Tel Aviv to Greece and international destinations. Major carriers SKY express and AEGEAN announced special fares starting at just tens of euros one-way.

SKY express initiated a broad promotion offering up to 50% off domestic flights within Greece and international routes. The sale is open for bookings until November 6, 2026, and applies to flights scheduled between November 15, 2026, and August 31, 2027. Direct flights from Tel Aviv to Athens are available starting at 49 euros one-way, including taxes, for selected dates in mid-November.

The promotional fares apply to the base tariff excluding port taxes, with a limited number of seats available. The ticket includes 8 kg of hand luggage and a personal item, while checked baggage and seat selection incur additional fees. Ticket modifications involve extra charges, and cancellations qualify only for port tax refunds.

Simultaneously, Greece's national carrier AEGEAN launched a short-term winter promotion valid for bookings until November 2, 2026, for flights between November 9, 2026, and January 17, 2027. The airline offers a 15% discount for flights departing until December 17, and a 20% discount for flights between December 18 and January 17, covering the holiday season.

AEGEAN lists flights from Tel Aviv to Athens starting at 73 euros one-way in November. The discount applies to economy class flights operated by the airline or its subsidiary Olympic Air, excluding codeshare flights. Additionally, the airline provides a permanent 15% discount for young travelers aged 18 to 25 registered in its genAIRation program.
