As part of a focused operation following a dispute between families in the Al-Huzayl Bedouin sector, this Monday morning, officers from the Rahat police station and fighters from the Southern National Guard of the Border Police (Magav) located a weapons cache. The operation was conducted under the intelligence guidance of Rahat station detectives and with the assistance of the police dog Anna.

During the operation, forces raided a residential complex in the sector and conducted a search. With the assistance of the dog Anna, weapons hidden in the house were found, including three M16 rifles, ammunition, five magazines, and weapon parts.

Two suspects in their 30s, residents of Rahat, were arrested at the scene and transferred for further investigation at the Rahat station.

The seizure of the weapons joins a series of actions carried out by the police in recent days as part of the fight against family disputes and crime in Rahat. Over the weekend, forces arrested 24 suspects following a violent brawl between factions in the city, during which two police officers were injured by stone-throwing. Later, the forces raided residential complexes as part of the same conflict and managed to uncover a weapons cache hidden in the Bedouin sector—again with the assistance of the police dog Anna.
