Following a report by Amit Segal that former soccer star Eli Ohana, a symbol of Beitar Jerusalem and a presenter for Keshet 12 and Radio 103FM, is being considered by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for a reserved spot on the Likud list for the next Knesset elections, Ohana firmly declared: "No one spoke to me." Now, it is the turn of his co-host on the program "Ofira Ohana Sari," Ofira Asayag, to weigh in.

Asayag, who hosts the program alongside Ohana and Barak Sari on Keshet 12 every Friday from 18:00 to 20:00, has ramped up anticipation for this evening's episode, providing the first indirect reference to the reports regarding Ohana's potential political future.

Asayag posted a promo on her social media for tonight's show, highlighting their first television meeting since the rumors surfaced:

"Eli Ohana in a first interview. After Netanyahu's offer, will he run with Likud? Ofira Ohana Sari, Friday at 18:00."

As previously mentioned, Ohana addressed the reports yesterday (Thursday) during a conversation with Barak Sari on their joint Radio 103FM program:

"I have learned in my life, and I have been living for enough years, not to respond to speculations, and I do not intend to respond to them even now."

Ohana continued:

"This publication caught me exactly like it caught you; you know no less than I do, so I really do not want to address things that for me are just rumors. No one spoke to me, and you know that I always tell the truth. When they do speak, I will know what to answer."

"What will I answer? I will not say that now. Barak, many names have been published recently—they are reserving this one, they are reserving that one. I am one of the names that was published yesterday, not with my knowledge and not with my consent. They did not speak to me and did not tell me anything, so I have truly learned not to address hypothetical things. Respect that, and let's move on with the program. I really have nothing to expand on; what shall we talk about? Something hypothetical."
