United Torah Judaism leader Yitzhak Goldknopf said in an interview with Kol Berama radio that a proposal to integrate yeshiva students into border service could be positive, provided that funding issues are resolved first.

Speaking on the "Hadshot HaShavua" program, Goldknopf emphasized that the government must first address yeshiva budgets and daycare subsidies. He also addressed the imprisonment of ultra-Orthodox draft evaders, stating that many young men have been harmed by being jailed for Torah study.

Regarding the upcoming Knesset elections, Goldknopf expressed confidence that his party will outperform expectations, predicting it will secure nine mandates. He also clarified that he has had no discussions regarding political cooperation with Gadi Eisenkot's party.
