Giannakopoulos Attends First OAKA Game as Panathinaikos Hosts Hapoel Tel Aviv

Panathinaikos owner Dimitris Giannakopoulos made his first OAKA appearance of the season for the clash against Hapoel Tel Aviv, according to local media reports. His team currently leads the EuroLeague standings with a flawless record of five wins from five games.

Giannakopoulos arrived about two hours before tip-off and met with Hapoel Tel Aviv owner Ofer Yannay in his private suite. The outspoken owner invested heavily this summer, bringing in stars like Guerschon Yabusele, Sylvain Francisco, Isaac Bonga, and Moustapha Fall, alongside the high-profile appointment of head coach Zeljko Obradovic.

Despite a favorable early schedule featuring seven home games in the first eight rounds, this marked the first time Giannakopoulos attended a match in person after missing the team's first four home fixtures.
