Geely Auto is set to debut its new Monjaro EM-i at the Paris Motor Show, marking the company's first global plug-in hybrid vehicle in the D-SUV segment. This European premiere, imported to Israel by Geo Mobility of the Union Group, is expected to arrive in the Israeli market toward the end of the year.

The new flagship model is built on the GEA-Evo architecture, specifically developed for new energy vehicles. Combined with the GEEA 3.0 electronic system, this platform enables flexible spatial utilization, an enhanced interior, advanced safety suites, and a smart driving experience. The EM-i Super Hybrid powertrain is engineered to balance high performance with low energy consumption. The name Monjaro draws inspiration from Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa.

In addition to the Monjaro EM-i, Geely will showcase four electrified models in Paris, including the compact electric Geely E2 designed for urban environments, which is slated to reach Israel early next year. The lineup also features the Geely E5 and Geely Starray EM-i models already marketed in Israel.

Geely's participation in the long-standing Paris exhibition, featuring over 60 automakers, underscores its ongoing European expansion. Aiden He, CEO of Geely Brand Europe, noted that the show marks a crucial milestone for the company, highlighting its strategy to offer diverse electrified powertrain solutions and broader choices to European consumers.
