Galit Gutman on the new decision: "I needed a change"
Blonde hair had been her trademark for years, but this week she decided to part with it. Appearing for the first time with her new hair on her show "Friday Morning," Gutman shared what her family thought about the change and received a special tribute.
Galit Gutman managed to surprise us all this week when she decided to return to her original hair color as part of a campaign for a hair dye brand. After her long-time partner on the morning show, Yoav Limor, discovered the change on live television, this morning, Friday, he made sure to give her a particularly warm and funny welcome. While Gutman was taking back the broadcast from the news update, Limor gave the signal, and he and the rest of the "Friday Morning" panel members put on blonde wigs.
"For 15 years we got used to a blonde sitting here," said Limor, and Gutman added with humor: "I needed a change, and as for getting divorced, I already did that at 40." The presenter described how the family received the new-old color: "I wanted to do this for a long time, and when the offer came, I took it with both hands. I didn't tell anyone, Mom, sorry. No one knew except the girls, who also needed some preparation, because my Emma doesn't know me with any other color."
