Delek Motors Recalls 863 Ford Bronco SUVs in Israel Over Wiring Defect
Delek Motors has issued a safety recall for 863 Ford Bronco and Bronco Raptor vehicles (2021-2026) in Israel due to a short circuit risk in the engine bay. Owners have six months to complete the free repair.
Delek Motors, the official importer of Ford vehicles in Israel, has announced a recall affecting 863 vehicles. The safety recall targets Ford Bronco and Ford Bronco Raptor models manufactured between the model years 2021 and 2026.
The recall was initiated due to concerns over a potential defect in the engine compartment wiring harness cover. According to the importer, the harness cover may rub and wear out over time, potentially leading to a short circuit. Authorized technicians will repair and secure the wiring harness in the engine compartment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines. The estimated duration of the repair is approximately four hours.
Written notifications will be sent via Israel Post to all affected vehicle owners as soon as the upgraded replacement parts arrive. Owners can also verify if their license plate number is included in the recall by visiting the official Ford Israel website or contacting the customer service hotline.
The repair will be performed free of charge at authorized Ford service centers operated by Delek Motors. Vehicle owners must schedule an appointment with their preferred service center in advance.
Under Regulation 306 (a) of the Israeli Traffic Regulations, if a vehicle owner fails to complete the recall within six months, the Ministry of Transportation will not renew the vehicle's license. Furthermore, under Regulation 306 (c), the owner will be barred from transferring vehicle ownership until the safety recall is completed.
