Six of World's Top Ten Richest People Are Jewish, Forbes Ranking Shows
Forbes' real-time billionaire ranking reveals that six of the ten richest people on Earth are Jewish, holding nearly 46% of total top-tier global wealth, largely driven by tech sector dominance.

The latest real-time billionaires ranking from Forbes magazine offers a fascinating glimpse into global wealth distribution, highlighting dramatic shifts at the top alongside a striking demographic detail: six of the ten wealthiest people on Earth are of Jewish heritage.
The Tech Giants Driving Global Wealth
This prominent representation at the summit of global wealth relies almost entirely on the growth engines of the technology, cloud, and artificial intelligence sectors. Google co-founders Larry Page (third place, $289.4 billion) and Sergey Brin (fifth place, $266.3 billion) continue to generate massive profits from Alphabet's dominance in search and AI markets. Meanwhile, Dell Technologies founder Michael Dell (fourth place, $277.2 billion) benefits from the surging global demand for advanced computing infrastructure.
Further down the top ten, Oracle founder Larry Ellison (eighth place, $185.1 billion) posts strong performances driven by a spike in cloud services, while former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer (ninth place, $167.1 billion) rounds out the Jewish representation in the top ten thanks to his holdings in the software giant.
"The combined net worth of these six individuals reaches an astounding $1.446 trillion, accounting for roughly 46% of the total wealth concentrated among the ten richest people on Earth."
Market Shifts and Zuckerberg's Ascent
One of the most engaging developments in the updated ranking is the tight race for sixth place. After Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang briefly claimed the sixth spot in recent weeks and pushed past Mark Zuckerberg, the Meta founder has now executed a counter-surpass.
Fueled by an impressive 2.6% daily surge in Meta shares, which added $6.6 billion to his fortune—the highest daily gain in the index—Zuckerberg climbed back to sixth place with an estimated net worth of $261.3 billion. Consequently, Huang slipped to seventh place with a fortune of $197.8 billion.
Meanwhile, Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk remains in the top spot, though he endured a turbulent 24 hours. Musk suffered the largest daily loss in the ranking, with his fortune dropping by $36.3 billion (a 3.61% decline) amid falling share prices. As a result, Musk's wealth receded to $970.4 billion, causing him to temporarily lose the trillionaire status he recently achieved.
