FedEx Appoints Avishay Gazit as Managing Director for Israel and Region

FedEx Express, the world's largest express transportation company, announced on Monday the appointment of Avishay Gazit as Managing Director for Israel, Greece, and Cyprus.

Gazit succeeds Miriam Tzur, who will continue to support strategic projects as an external consultant following a distinguished career at the company. Gazit brings over 25 years of experience in aviation, logistics, and ground operations, along with senior management experience worldwide. He joined FedEx in 2018 as Ramp Operations Manager in Israel and later advanced to Senior Operations Manager for Southeast Europe, Turkey, and Israel.

In his new role, Gazit will lead the operational activities in Israel, Greece, and Cyprus. "I am proud to lead our talented team in Israel," Gazit stated.
