Fattal Relaunches Tiberias Hotel as Leonardo Plaza Kinneret After NIS 150M Upgrade
Fattal Hotel Group has reopened the Leonardo Plaza Kinneret following a 150 million shekel renovation, featuring 261 upgraded rooms and an intimate music series.
Fattal Hotel Group has shaken up the local tourism industry by completing one of the most comprehensive renovation projects in northern Israel. With an unprecedented investment of approximately 150 million shekels, the well-known hotel formerly operating as Leonardo Plaza Tiberias has undergone a total overhaul and is now relaunched under the brand name Leonardo Plaza Kinneret, a strategic move designed to highlight its prime beachfront location overlooking the lake and the Golan Heights.
As part of the massive face-lift, all 261 rooms have been completely redesigned, featuring 19 mini-suites, an executive suite, and a luxurious presidential suite. The transformation also encompassed public areas, now offering a breathtaking outdoor pool complex overlooking the landscape, a pampering spa with eight treatment rooms, dry sauna, jacuzzis, an advanced fitness center, and a kids' club.
The true highlight of the revamped hotel lies in its complete hospitality experience. The venue's performance hall is set to become a regional cultural hub, hosting a series of acoustic weekends under the "Fattal Extra" brand. Starting in late October, top Israeli music stars will take the stage for intimate performances, featuring Yuval Dayan, Keren Pels, Rami Kleinstein, Amir Dadon, and Mooki.
