Massivit Scaling Up: New Appointment Following Expansion into Spain
Massivit is strengthening its position in the security and aviation sectors by appointing Nir Salomon as Head of Global Business Development, following the opening of a service center in Barcelona.
Technology company Massivit, a pioneer in large-format additive manufacturing, continues to deepen its footprint in the global security and aviation market. The company has announced the appointment of Nir Salomon as Head of Global Business Development.
Salomon brings over 25 years of experience in the aviation, security, and international sectors. Previously, he managed business development, mergers, and acquisitions in the military aircraft division of Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI). Massivit is an Israeli public company that develops large 3D printers, with its headquarters located in Lod.
Salomon previously served as the economic attaché of the State of Israel in Florida, USA. In his new role at Massivit, he will lead the international growth of the RapidWings platform, the company's commercial solution providing advanced manufacturing solutions from composite materials for the aviation and security industries.
Massivit CEO Yossi Azarzar commented on the appointment:
"The rich experience that Salomon brings with him from Israel Aerospace Industries and from managing international economic relations in government, alongside his deep familiarity with the needs of the security and aviation market, will help us deepen our presence and create strategic partnerships overseas, while generating long-term value for the company's shareholders."
Salomon's appointment is part of a broader strategy to establish the company in international markets. Recently, Massivit opened its first service center outside of Israel, located in Barcelona, Spain.
In addition to its European expansion, the company is strengthening its advisory board in the USA. A few months ago, Massivit added Chris Athern, a former senior official in the US Air Force procurement system, to its advisory board. Through its patented technologies, Massivit aims to provide these industries with full design freedom in the production of large and complex parts, significantly saving costs and shortening production times.
