From Tech Executive to Spiritual Guide: Erez Goldstein's Remarkable Shift
Erez Goldstein walked away from a lucrative high-tech career and multimillion-dollar exits to pursue spirituality and guide transformative journeys across Israel.

Erez Goldstein had it all: a thriving high-tech career, millions made from successful exits, and executive roles at major firms. Yet, at the peak of his professional success, he realized something essential was missing. Today, at 59, he has traded boardrooms for nature trails, dedicating his life to spirituality, self-discovery, and his new venture, "Kumu Adam ve-Adama" (Man and Earth Journey).
From High-Tech Exits to Inner Peace
Before shifting his focus entirely to the spiritual realm, Goldstein spent decades climbing the corporate ladder. Born in Jerusalem and raised in Herzliya, he graduated from the Hebrew University with degrees in economics, accounting, and business administration. After a brief stint in financial management, he transitioned into software and cybersecurity entrepreneurship. He served as CEO of SoftCubes BI, headed the defense and industry sectors at Oracle Israel, and led the software division at the One1 Group.
In 2011, he founded Integrity Software, specializing in infrastructure and cybersecurity. Despite initial struggles and months without revenue, he persevered. Seven years later, he sold two-thirds of the company to Matrix for millions of shekels. Later, in 2022, another cybersecurity startup he founded, Crusoe Security, was acquired by the American giant Palo Alto Networks. Despite the financial triumphs, the inner restlessness persisted.
"I wasn't sad, but I wasn't at peace with myself," Goldstein shares. "I felt a piece of the puzzle was missing. I realized I was going to sleep stressed and waking up stressed, and that my patience was wearing thin."
The 18-Year Spiritual Journey
Goldstein's transition was not an overnight impulse; it was an 18-year evolution. He began studying Yamima, a method of cognitive thinking that fosters self-awareness, before delving into Jewish mysticism, Kabbalah, and Hasidic philosophy under teachers like Dov Elboim, entirely free of dogmatic constraints. He also spent a year studying shamanism to gain practical tools for inner well-being.
Eventually, these two worlds merged. Goldstein decided to lead a trip for his business clients, which proved immensely popular. This success inspired the creation of "Man and Earth Journey." Every month, he guides small groups of up to 20 influential leaders through a seven-weekend immersive experience across Israel's diverse landscapes, from the Timna Valley and the Negev craters to the Golan Heights and Jerusalem.
While Goldstein still dedicates one day a week to business—notably leading the CISO IL community with over 200 chief cybersecurity officers—his true calling is now human connection and spiritual growth. Acknowledging that his financial freedom made this lifestyle shift possible, he views his wealth as a gift meant to be shared. "I am deeply grateful for the financial abundance I received," he concludes, "and now I want to pass it on to others."
