Eretz Nehederet Star Eli Finish Jokes About Yoseph Haddad's Electoral Defeat
Comedian Eli Finish humorously reacted to the political failure of Yoseph Haddad and the Amcha Yisrael Party after failing to enter the Knesset. Finish joked that he kills off his own satirical characters.

Comedian and Eretz Nehederet star Eli Finish has humorously addressed the political demise of yet another satirical character following the recent Knesset elections. In a stand-up routine shared on social media, Finish joked about the failure of the Amcha Yisrael Party, led by retired Brigadier General Ofer Winter with activist Yoseph Haddad in the second spot, which failed to clear the electoral threshold.
During the performance, when asked about his ballot, Finish quipped that he voted for Balad before pivoting to his main grievance. "How did this happen? How did another character of mine die?" he asked the laughing crowd. Lamenting Haddad's political exit, Finish reenacted his fiery English-language impersonation of the activist, shouting, "You fucking hypocrites!", before deadpanning, "How did this happen to us, that I am the only Arab in the country not in the Knesset?"
Finish revealed that he had spoken with Haddad prior to debuting the impression on Eretz Nehederet to ensure it was well received. According to the comedian, Haddad skeptically asked if he was sure, warning him that he is bad luck. Finish concluded amid audience laughter, "Listen, I am the burial society for characters on Eretz Nehederet," recalling past political figures whose satirical personas faded after electoral losses.
The Amcha Yisrael Party ran in the recent elections despite repeated warnings from the right wing not to split the bloc. The party secured approximately 95,288 votes, or 1.68% of the valid ballots, falling far short of the 3.25% electoral threshold and leaving its candidates outside the parliament.
