Central Election Committee Inspects Logistical Readiness Ahead of Vote
The Central Election Committee inspected its logistical center in Shoham ahead of the upcoming elections, ensuring full preparedness for over 7.3 million eligible voters across 12,018 polling stations.

The Central Election Committee's logistical center in Shoham is completing final preparations ahead of the upcoming parliamentary elections, operating under high security and operational readiness.
Logistical Scale and Preparation
Justice Noam Solberg, Chairman of the Central Election Committee, toured the operational logistical center (Mamal) to inspect packing, quality control, and shipping systems for election equipment. The logistical network is preparing to serve 7,331,981 eligible voters across 12,018 polling stations nationwide. Organizers have printed approximately 450 million ballot slips for 38 competing lists, alongside 12 million standard envelopes and 4 million exterior envelopes.
The tour also highlighted new innovations designed to minimize errors and streamline polling station operations. These include a specialized ruler for precise voter registry marking, improved ballot trays, and advanced counterfeit prevention tools. Backup systems have also been established to rapidly supply materials in the event of shortages on election day.
Security and Emergency Scenarios
Election officials emphasize readiness for various security and societal challenges. Every polling station will feature clear signage directing voters to the nearest protected space, alongside protocols for rapidly collapsing counting tables and freezing count states during emergencies.
"The logistical center is where elections become truly tangible. Every shipment leaving here is thoroughly inspected down to the last pen," Justice Noam Solberg stated during the tour.
Solberg addressed potential security challenges, public polarization, and cyber threats, underscoring that paper ballots ensure transparency and reliability. The committee is coordinating closely with the Police of Israel, SHABAK, and cyber authorities to guarantee the integrity of the electoral process.
