Eldar wrote to his girlfriend 'There's a mess here' - and disappeared in Tel Aviv: 'We want a lead'
The family of Eldar Dayan, 23, from Dimona, lost contact with him over a week ago. He was with a friend and was last seen in the Yarkon Park area: "The friend keeps changing versions, saying they split up."

Family members of 23-year-old Eldar (Yitzhak) Dayan from Dimona are asking for the public's help in locating him after contact was lost over a week ago. According to the family, a missing person report was filed at the Dimona police station, but they claim that so far they have received no answers regarding his fate.
Agam, Eldar's mother, stated that the last message he sent was to his girlfriend, mentioning that he had gotten into a fight.
"He wrote to her, 'There's a mess here, we'll talk later,'" the mother said.
Since then, his phone has been unavailable, and there has been no sign of life. Eldar left Dimona last Tuesday with a friend but did not return home. As days passed, the family tried to piece together what happened, but they claim the friend's account has changed several times.
"The friend has changed versions several times already, and we don't know. There is no lead, none. We don't know what happened," she said. According to the family, the last place Eldar was located was in the Yarkon Park area in Tel Aviv. The mother explained that, according to the friend, they continued from there to a nearby Paz gas station, where they allegedly parted ways. "Up to there he said they split up. Why did they split up? God knows," she said.
The family did not realize Eldar was missing until his grandmother noticed he had not returned home and was unreachable. The family remains in contact with the Dimona police station, waiting for updates. "We just want to find a lead, something. We have nothing," she said.
The family urges anyone with information that may assist in locating Eldar (Yitzhak) Dayan to contact the Israel Police.
