Viewers of Channel 13's morning shows and weather forecasts have surely noticed the prominent absence of one of the screen's most familiar faces in recent days. Now, television presenter Elad Zohar, 44, is breaking his silence and explaining why he suddenly vanished from broadcasts and found himself confined to his home.

Medical Struggle and Recovery

In a candid and painful story published on his Instagram account, Zohar shared the medical reason that has completely sidelined him these days: "For the past two days I have been suffering from vertigo that won't leave me. Whatever treatment I've tried so far hasn't succeeded and I'm pretty much confined to the house. It's impossible to drive and certainly not to interview people or speak in front of a camera."

I'm on dizziness-reducing pills and basically hoping for an improvement. Physiotherapy I tried helped a little, but not enough. Magic is needed here.. promising to return soon.

Career and Personal Life

Elad Zohar is a television presenter, journalist, and meteorologist. On a daily basis, he anchors the morning show and lifestyle magazine "Potchim Yom" on Reshet 13 alongside his co-host Yarden Harel, in addition to serving as the channel's senior weather forecaster.

Zohar has been married to Shiri since 2010 and the couple are parents to three boys living in Petah Tikva. Beyond his media work, Zohar is known as an exceptionally active figure in the public sphere on behalf of celiac patients, advocating for product accessibility and raising awareness.
