Maayan Manela, former founder and editor of the career and management sector at Calcalist, has teamed up with the PR and communications firm Orenstein Choshen to launch a new company named ekoh.

The company will specialize in Employer Reputation Management, one of the most sensitive areas for employers today, particularly during periods of layoffs, instability, and the subsequent need for talent retention and re-hiring.

A Holistic Approach to Employer Reputation

ekoh was founded on the premise that recruitment, talent retention, organizational culture, and crisis management have increasingly become matters of communication, reputation, and public relations. Orenstein Choshen brings extensive expertise in these areas, combined with Manela's 16 years of research and reporting.

"In the current era, employers need more than positive press and traditional PR. Talents are searching for authenticity, meaning, and a genuine connection between what the organization says and what it actually offers," said Maayan Manela, partner at ekoh.

Comprehensive Services for Modern Enterprises

The firm will guide organizations from mapping the employer brand and formulating a distinct narrative, to implementing content strategies across internal communications, digital assets, ambassador programs, and HR crisis management.

Dan Orenstein and Itamar Choshen noted: "ekoh was not established to simply do better employer branding, but to manage comprehensive employer reputation. Employer branding is just one tool within this broader ecosystem."
