Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar Party Secures 35 Million Shekels for Election Campaign
Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar party raised over 35 million shekels through guarantees and donations ahead of the upcoming Knesset elections, backed by prominent business leaders.

Gadi Eisenkot, leader of the "Yashar" party and member of the Knesset, has significantly ramped up his party's financial backing ahead of the upcoming legislative elections.
Campaign Funding Milestones
Over the past week, Gadi Eisenkot secured seven additional loan guarantees totaling 5.3 million shekels. This brings his cumulative total to 49 guarantees worth 33 million shekels, alongside 373 donations amounting to 2.3 million shekels. In total, the party's fundraising pool has reached approximately 35.3 million shekels.
Among the new guarantors are prominent figures contributing substantial sums, including business leaders and veterans of the Israeli Air Force. Notably, Marius Nacht, co-founder of "Check Point", provided a guarantee of half a million shekels, reinforcing his earlier financial support for the party.
Electoral Projections and Coalition Dynamics
If current opinion polls prove accurate, the "Yashar" party could secure roughly 21 mandates, qualifying it for approximately 29 million shekels in state election funding. Remaining campaign expenses can be covered via Knesset loans, repayable through regular party funding allocations.
"We are building a robust financial and political foundation to offer a genuine alternative for the Israeli public," campaign sources noted regarding the broader strategy.
Meanwhile, other political factions are also mobilizing resources. The reservists' party led by Yoaz Hendel and the economic party led by Yaron Zelecha are running on a joint list for the 26th Knesset elections and are projected to clear the electoral threshold.
