Eisenkot Raises 30 Million Shekels for Yashar! Party Election Campaign
Yashar! leader Gadi Eisenkot raised 14.38 million shekels in guarantees within a week, pushing total funds to 30 million shekels ahead of the upcoming Knesset elections.
Yashar! party leader Gadi Eisenkot has intensified his fundraising efforts in the final stretch leading up to the Knesset elections scheduled for late October. Over the course of a single week, Eisenkot secured nine loan guarantees totaling 14.380 million shekels, bringing his total guarantees to 27.748 million shekels from 42 different guarantors.
In addition to the loan guarantees, the party raised 2.251 million shekels in direct donations, bringing the total financial resources at its disposal to approximately 30 million shekels. According to polls, if the Yashar! party wins around 21 mandates, it will be entitled to state election funding of 29 million shekels, with the remainder covered by a Knesset loan repayable through ongoing party financing.
Meanwhile, the Amichai Yisrael party, led by Ofer Winter, has also ramped up its financial preparations ahead of the upcoming vote. The party has secured seven guarantees totaling 7.475 million shekels, enabling it to take out bank loans amounting to 6.688 million shekels from Mizrahi Tefahot Bank.
