Eisenkot Accuses Netanyahu of Document Tampering and Recalls 2004 Warnings
Gadi Eisenkot discussed past prophetic warnings, revealed threats left at his fallen son's grave, and accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of altering crucial pre-war documents.
Eisenkot Recalls Past Warnings and Current Threats
In a recent interview, Gadi Eisenkot, leader of the "Yashar!" party and former IDF Chief of Staff, reflected on a prophetic 2004 interview where he stated that "there is no absolute victory" in the enduring conflict against terrorism. Reflecting on decades of security challenges, Eisenkot shared a deeply personal tragedy, revealing that threats and intimidating messages were recently left at the grave of his son, Gal, who fell in combat in Gaza in December 2023.
"I debated what to do about it, and in the end, I decided I would do nothing. At this stage of life, it is very hard to frighten me," Eisenkot said.
Allegations Concerning Pre-October 7 Documents
Eisenkot also addressed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's opposition to a state commission of inquiry, accusing him of concealing critical facts and pointing to potential criminal discrepancies in official documentation. Eisenkot expressed deep suspicion regarding reports submitted to the State Comptroller, suggesting that documents concerning operational preparedness against Hamas leadership prior to October 7, 2023, may have been altered.
