Eilat Police Seize Sound Equipment and Detain Business Owner Over Noise
Eilat police seized sound equipment and detained a business owner and DJ after repeated noise complaints from a nearby hotel amid weekend enforcement against disturbances.

Police in Eilat seized sound equipment from a local business early Sunday morning following multiple noise complaints from guests at an adjacent hotel.
Officers responding to an early morning call from a hotel guest found exceptionally loud music playing at the establishment. The business owner, who had already been warned twice previously regarding noise violations, was detained for questioning alongside the DJ, and the sound equipment was confiscated.
This was not the only noise-related incident in the city over the weekend. Earlier, at a private party in a residential apartment, an attendee shouted at friends to turn the music up in the presence of police officers who had arrived following a noise complaint. He was detained for questioning at the police station and the speaker was seized. On Thursday, a nightclub owner in Eilat was also warned following reports of excessive noise.
Police stated: We will continue to act decisively against noise disturbances, in cooperation with the municipal authority, to ensure the quality of life of residents and their right to rest at home. Alongside Eilat tourism and nightlife, businesses and revelers are required to obey the law and maintain public peace.
