Ehud Schneerson, co-founder of the cyber intelligence firm Paragon and former commander of Unit 8200, is stepping down from his executive role after roughly seven years. He is joining as an entrepreneur at Rebon, a new venture launched by Idan Nurick, who previously served under his command and later partnered with him to establish Paragon. Schneerson will continue to serve as an advisor to Paragon.

Estimates indicate that Rebon has raised approximately $200 million across several financing rounds, with the most recent round valuing the company at over $1.5 billion. Schneerson was part of the founding team that established Paragon in 2019, playing a central leadership role alongside Nurick to drive the company's growth, expand its international footprint, and solidify its position as a provider of advanced cyber technologies to defense and law enforcement agencies in democratic nations.

His departure comes as Paragon prepares to transition into a publicly traded entity. In December 2024, the firm was acquired by the American investment fund AE Industrial Partners and merged with the U.S. cyber company REDLattice. The group is currently advancing a merger with the special purpose acquisition company Bold Eagle Acquisition Corp, which is expected to bring the combined entity to the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol REDL, pending final transaction closing and regulatory approvals.
