Eden Harel-Menashe, who hosted morning shows on Channel 14 with her husband Oded Menashe, recently made headlines following her decision to join the new season of the program "MasterChef: Dream Team" on Channel 12.

In a clip she shared from the podcast "Talks from Paradise" by wedo podcast, Eden Harel presented her philosophy regarding the expectations placed on women in society, and the complex struggles that many of them face behind the scenes.

"No one, almost no one would say that a strong woman is a woman who knows how to rest, or a strong woman is a woman who knows how to say that it is hard for her, or a strong woman is a woman who asks for help. Perhaps, without noticing, we built for ourselves a definition of strength that no one can truly live up to. This definition of strength is not just an exhausting definition, it is simply an untrue definition, it is a lie," said Eden Harel.

The television presenter explained her claim at length:

"It is a small or big lie that we all believed in. A lie that says a strong woman is a woman who does not have a hard time. In practice, in the reality of life, there is no such woman. This persona causes us to collapse in silence behind closed doors, inside our hearts, just so that no one sees that we have any kind of crack."
