East Jerusalem Man Shot Dead Near Ma'ale Adumim in Suspected Blood Feud
A 60-year-old East Jerusalem resident was shot dead near Ma'ale Adumim in a suspected blood feud linked to a recent murder. Police are investigating the incident.

A 60-year-old resident of East Jerusalem, Jawad Skafi, was shot dead near Ma'ale Adumim in the Palestinian town of Al-Eizariya. Police have launched an investigation into the killing.
Skafi was brought to Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics who pronounced him dead at the scene. Investigators suspect the shooting was a revenge killing linked to the murder of 24-year-old Muhammad Ashraf Shweiki several days ago in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Abu Tor.
Surveillance footage from the latest incident shows four masked suspects arriving in a vehicle. Three of them approached the building, knocked on the door, and opened fire when Skafi answered. One of the suspects appeared to record the shooting with a smartphone. Police believe the attackers also intended to target Skafi's son, but failed to locate him before fleeing the scene.
The previous murder of Shweiki occurred last Wednesday in Abu Tor, where four masked men opened fire on a group of people. Shweiki was evacuated to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in critical condition, where he later died. Four other men were also injured in that shooting, with two sustaining moderate wounds. Over 180 individuals have been killed within Arab society since the beginning of the year.
