Early Voting Data Reveals Sharp Decline in Support for Donald Trump in US
Over 25.8 million Americans have cast early ballots as CNN data reveals a sharp drop in support for Donald Trump among key demographics and rural voters amid mounting economic concerns.

More than 25.8 million Americans have already cast their ballots in early voting ahead of the upcoming elections, according to data from On Point Politics covering 46 states. Roughly 13.6 million voters have cast mail-in ballots, while approximately 12.2 million voted in person at early voting locations.
With the final results approaching, CNN senior data reporter Harry Enten unveiled a grim picture for Donald Trump's campaign. Enten's in-depth analysis reveals that key demographic groups, which previously formed the backbone of Trump's support base, are turning away from him in unprecedented numbers.
Data indicates that Trump's net support among newly engaged voters plummeted from a four-point advantage to a minus 62 points, marking a drastic 66-point swing. Enten emphasized that this demographic could prove decisive in numerous tight races across the country.
The economy and the rising cost of living remain a severe vulnerability for the administration. Only 10% of these voters express satisfaction with Trump's handling of inflation, while 88% register total dissatisfaction, pointing to deep voter frustration.
The crisis has also penetrated rural America, a traditionally reliable Republican stronghold. Trump's net support among rural voters crashed from a 23-point advantage to minus 18 points, representing a 41-point collapse in a region critical to conservative campaigns.
Furthermore, when pitted against Kamala Harris on the issue of inflation, Trump lost a 37-point edge and plunged to minus 35 points. Enten concluded that these sweeping negative trends present a severe challenge for the Republican campaign moving forward.
