From a Tel Aviv Apartment to Nationwide Distribution: 17 kg of Drugs Seized
Following a covert investigation, police from the Binyamin station raided an apartment and seized marijuana, hashish, and ketamine. Four suspects have been arrested, and three vehicles along with an electric bicycle used in the operation were confiscated.
Police officers from the Binyamin station have uncovered an apartment in Tel Aviv suspected of serving as a hub for supplying and distributing drugs throughout the country.
During a raid conducted on Wednesday, approximately 17 kg of substances suspected to be marijuana, hashish, and ketamine were seized. The drugs were divided into bags and portions, which police state indicates they were prepared for trafficking. A 31-year-old Tel Aviv resident was arrested and taken in for questioning.
The raid was part of a covert investigation led by Binyamin station detectives in the Judea and Samaria District, focusing on drug trafficking in Judea, Samaria, Jerusalem, and central Israel.
In a previous operation related to the same case, police seized about four kg of suspected marijuana and hashish and arrested a 23-year-old resident of Bnei Brak. In total, four suspects have been arrested so far, and dozens of kilograms of suspected drugs have been seized.
Furthermore, police confiscated three vehicles and an electric bicycle believed to have been used in the commission of these offenses. Authorities intend to request the forfeiture of the property. The investigation is ongoing.
