PMO Responds to Reports of Diplomat Attack in Judea and Samaria
The Prime Minister's Office responded to reports of European diplomats attacked in Judea and Samaria, calling for solid evidence while condemning violence. Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar and opposition leader Gadi Eisenkot also addressed the incident.

The Prime Minister's Office issued an official statement addressing reports that European diplomats were attacked in Judea and Samaria. The statement emphasized that any act of violence against diplomats is unacceptable, while noting that the gravity of the accusation increases the need for compelling evidence.
According to the PMO, the diplomatic delegation entered a sensitive area without prior coordination with the IDF. The office stressed that such coordination is vital to ensure security and prevent violence. The statement also noted the participation of Bernard Boudot, a French Communist Party mayor who previously raised a Palestinian flag on his municipal building.
Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar condemned the violent acts carried out by Israeli rioters near the village of Taybeh in the Binyamin region. Sa'ar stated that a police investigation has been launched and forensic teams are gathering evidence. While condemning the attack, he criticized the lack of prior coordination with the IDF.
Opposition figures sharply criticized the government. Yashar party leader Gadi Eisenkot denounced the incident, calling it a severe security and diplomatic blow caused by violent outlaws. Meanwhile, Binyamin Regional Council head Israel Gantz argued that provocateurs and rioters are orchestrating chaos under the guise of the olive harvest, while acknowledging that Israelis who resort to violence harm the state and the settlement enterprise.
