Police Raid in Rahat: Firearms and Stolen Off-Road Vehicle Seized
Six suspects were arrested during the operation, including two illegal residents from Dahariya. The suspects and seized items were transferred to the Rahat police station for further investigation.
The Israel Police arrested six suspects this week during a raid on a residential complex in Rahat. Two pistols, five magazines, and an off-road vehicle suspected of being stolen were located at the site, alongside two illegal residents.
The police search was conducted in a residential building and the adjacent yard. During the inspection of the apartment, two residents of Dahariya, aged 23 and 34, were found hiding without stay permits and were subsequently arrested.
As the operation continued, officers discovered a bag containing two pistols and five magazines. In the yard, they located a Maverick-type off-road vehicle, which is suspected to have been stolen earlier.
In total, six people were arrested in connection with the incident. All suspects were transferred to the Rahat police station for further investigation. The police stated that they will continue to act against criminal elements in the area to enforce the law and strengthen security.
