Secret agents arrest gang trafficking women into Israel

The Israel Police have uncovered an international network suspected of human trafficking and pimping. Intelligence was provided by the Operational Coordination Department and the Israel Police representative abroad. Three suspects have been arrested on charges of human trafficking and inducing individuals to engage in prostitution.

The three gang members—a resident of Be'er Sheva and his partner in their thirties, and a resident of Eilat in his forties—were brought before the Magistrate's Court in Haifa for a detention hearing. According to investigators, the suspects established contacts with women abroad and coerced or persuaded them to travel to Israel to work in the sex industry.

The investigation involved large-scale cooperation between domestic and international units. Secret agents were deployed to expose the gang's operations, which included monitoring women who had arrived in the country as escorts under the direction and influence of the suspects.
