Israeli NBA star Deni Avdija set a memorabilia record as his rookie trading card sold for $54,000. Alongside his growing business ventures in protein products, the player is shining on the court with the Portland Trail Blazers.

Deni Avdija, the prominent Israeli NBA player, has set a new all-time record in the sports memorabilia market. A rare trading card featuring the Israeli star was recently auctioned off for a staggering $54,000, approximately 200,000 shekels, marking the highest price ever paid for an Israeli basketball collectible.
The item in question is one of the most coveted pieces in the sports card market: a rookie card from Avdija's tenure with his former team, the Washington Wizards, hailing from the prestigious Panini Immaculate Collection series. This unique item features an authentic autograph by the player alongside an official NBA logo patch from his game-worn jersey, making it a one-of-a-kind piece that has generated immense interest among top-tier collectors.
Beyond his exploits on the hardwood, Avdija has also been making waves in the business world over the past year, particularly in the food industry. He launched the TURBO protein ice cream brand as a co-founder, actively participating in product development, flavor formulation, and quality standards. Just a couple of weeks ago, Avdija announced the expansion of the ice cream line with a new strawberry cream flavor rich in protein.
Avdija's business ventures also include protein bars served to premium class passengers on El Al flights. His 'Turbo Mix' snacks are available at approximately 3,000 points of sale across the country, including convenience stores and supermarket chains such as Yellow, Dor Alon, and AM:PM. Meanwhile, this off-court success coincides with a stellar start to the NBA season for Avdija and his new team, the Portland Trail Blazers, who started strong with notable performances from the Israeli standout.
