The Democrats headquarters erupted in celebrations following exit polls projecting a double-digit mandate count for the party and a sharp decline for the current governing coalition. Activists at the headquarters told the press that the results mark a critical test for the change bloc, emphasizing the urgent need to integrate one-fifth of the country's citizens into the political process.

Party leader Yair Golan addressed supporters after the broadcast of the exit polls, declaring that the public has spoken and effectively dismissed the government led by Benjamin Netanyahu. Golan stressed that the political establishment has been handed a historic opportunity to form a genuine government of change in Israel, a mandate the party intends to pursue vigorously.

"We represent a massive public that has fought in the streets for four years, registered for the party, and mobilized in the field to persuade voters," Golan stated. He added that the leadership is prepared to work with all coalition partners, bridge gaps, and assume national responsibility to ensure the formation of a new administration.

Lawmakers from the faction also weighed in on the electoral outcome, pointing to a dramatic shift in voter alignment. MK Gilad Kariv noted that the Netanyahu-led bloc dropped from 68 to 50 seats, reflecting a million-voter gap between those supporting the incumbent administration and those demanding its departure.

MK Naama Lazimi called for political courage, asserting that the change bloc will form the next government and serve as its moral compass. Activist Yaya Fink outlined immediate legislative priorities, suggesting that parliamentary committees could soon see leadership changes and that a state commission of inquiry into the events of October 7 will be established.

Senior party officials underscored the importance of genuine partnership with Arab society to secure a new direction for the country, urging all opposition leaders to recognize the political reality and act decisively.
