Israeli content creator Max Viper has been officially summoned to testify in court in Sydney, Australia, as part of the trial against two medical workers documented threatening to harm Israeli patients.
The affair escalated following the publication of footage by Viper, in which Ahmed Rashad Nadir and Sarah Abu Labda, employees of the local healthcare system, are seen hurling hate speech. The two declared they would refuse to provide medical treatment to Israelis and even added that they would kill them if they arrived at the hospital. Following the video's release, both were suspended from their positions for two years, and it was recently ruled that the footage would serve as admissible evidence in their trial.
In a video published recently, Viper revealed that Australian authorities will fund his flights, hotel, and police escort. However, following threats received over the past year and the rising wave of antisemitism, Viper expressed deep concern for his personal safety. Consequently, he has turned to the Jewish community and security organizations in Australia with a request to assist in funding and coordinating a private security detail to accompany him throughout his stay, beyond basic police protection.
