Delek Motors Announces Recall for 111 Ford Vehicles Over Camera Flaw
Delek Motors announced a recall for 111 Ford vehicles in Israel due to potential rearview camera system malfunctions, offering free repairs at authorized service centers.
Delek Motors, the importer of Ford vehicles in Israel, has announced a recall for 111 vehicles due to a safety concern regarding the rearview camera system. According to the company, the recall addresses a potential malfunction in the electrical system that can cause the rearview camera display to show a black or distorted screen when shifting into reverse.
As part of the recall, the rearview cameras in the affected vehicles will be replaced with upgraded units at no cost to the owners. The repairs will be conducted at authorized Ford service centers across the country, with the estimated work time taking approximately two hours.
Vehicle owners will receive written notification via postal mail once the replacement parts arrive at the service centers. In the meantime, drivers can check online via the company's website or contact customer service to verify if their license plate number is included in the recall list.
Under Israeli traffic regulations, vehicle owners are required to complete the recall procedure within six months of receiving the notice. Failure to do so will result in administrative sanctions, including the Ministry of Transport withholding vehicle license renewals and blocking ownership transfers until the required service is performed.
