Search efforts for the man who went missing on Monday in the Sea of Galilee have shifted following new information. According to testimonies received by police and search teams, the man was seen walking on the shore, prompting search crews to focus their efforts on the vicinity of the lake.

New findings indicate that the man visited his mother in Katzrin after the search in the Sea of Galilee had already commenced. Despite these developments, police emphasize that the missing person has not yet been located and great uncertainty remains regarding his fate.

The extensive search operation began yesterday following reports of a man in his 40s who entered the water at Trapez beach, south of Tiberias, and subsequently disappeared. The operation involves the maritime police unit, Northern District officers, an aerial police unit helicopter, and additional rescue teams. The Sea of Galilee Cities Association control room stated that their inspection and enforcement teams are also scanning the area using patrol boats and drones to assist police and rescue forces.
