In a hideout apartment: suspect in assault of his partner arrested after 3 months
Shalom (Charlie) Buzaglo, who was wanted for investigation on suspicion of committing severe violent offenses against his partner, was arrested in a hideout apartment in Dimona.
The manhunt has concluded: police officers arrested Shalom (Charlie) Buzaglo today, Sunday, after he had been wanted for three months on suspicion of assaulting his partner. He was apprehended while hiding in an apartment in the city of Dimona.
The case began approximately three months ago, when an investigation was opened at the Ashdod station following a report of a severe violent incident. Buzaglo fled his residence and covered his tracks, prompting the police to launch extensive searches and request the public's assistance in locating him.
Throughout his months on the run, investigators from the Ashdod station conducted a series of investigative and intelligence operations. According to information received by the investigation team, Buzaglo was moving between several locations across the country—including Eilat, Jerusalem, Haifa, Ashdod, and Dimona—while apparently receiving assistance from various parties to evade arrest.
Today, acting on specific intelligence, officers raided the hideout apartment in Dimona and arrested Buzaglo on the spot. He has been transferred to the Ashdod station for questioning, and the police will subsequently request an extension of his detention in court.
