Analyst and investment expert Arthur Hayes, one of the founders of the BitMEX exchange, commented on the recent rise in Bitcoin's price: "In the initial wave of sales, Bitcoin will take a hit and move in the range of 60 to 70 thousand dollars, with a possibility of a decline towards 50 thousand dollars."
According to Hayes, flooding the market with cash will erode the purchasing power of traditional currencies, leading to an unprecedented wave of demand for assets with limited supply: "In this scenario, the demand for Bitcoin will rise rapidly to a price of one million dollars and even more."
