Israeli Fan Receives Concert Refund After Macklemore Protests

An Israeli fan who walked out of an Ed Sheeran concert due to Macklemore's anti-Israel opening act has successfully received a full ticket refund.

Michaela, who left the venue in anger before Ed Sheeran took the stage after Macklemore's performance, initially faced a refusal from Ticketmaster and the artist's management. However, she confirmed that the refund has now been processed.

"They simply sent an email saying we would get a refund within a few days, and we received it yesterday," she told Mako. She expressed frustration that the refund came without an apology after multiple rejections, noting her strong opposition to funding an artist who donates proceeds to pro-Palestinian causes.
